Booking and payment

Is a deposit required?

Yes.

Bookings are confirmed with a 50% deposit of the total amount.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Pix, cash and card.

Can I pay in installments by card?

Yes, with interest.

What is the cancellation policy?

Free cancellation up to 48 hours before arrival.

After that, only the deposit is kept.

Can I change my dates instead of cancelling?

Usually yes, depending on availability.

Do you issue invoices (nota fiscal)?

Yes.

Arrival and departure

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in from 1 pm.

Check-out by 12 pm (noon).

Can I check in early or check out late?

Early check-in depends only on room availability.

Late check-out, if a room is available:

  • until 2 pm: 20% of the nightly rate
  • until 4 pm: 40% of the nightly rate
  • until the evening: 80% of the nightly rate
Can I leave my luggage before check-in or after check-out?

Yes, we have a luggage storage area.

You can also enjoy the wait at our beach bar.

What if I arrive late at night?

Reception closes at night, but if a late arrival can't be avoided, someone will always be there to open the gate.

Please let us know in advance.

Which documents do I need?

Brazilian CPF or passport.

Minors need their own ID and, if not travelling with their parents, a travel authorization.

How do I get here from Salvador?
  • By speedboat (lancha): from the Terminal Náutico in Salvador to the Mar Grande terminal. The pousada is about a 2-minute walk from the terminal.
  • By ferry: the pousada is about 20 minutes by car from the ferry terminal.
Can I walk from the speedboat terminal?

Absolutely.

It takes about 2 minutes.

Is there parking?

Yes, private parking, free for guests.

Yes!

We serve both pay-by-weight (comida a quilo) and à la carte. Our Afro-Brazilian kitchen serves generous, home-style dishes, just like grandma used to make.

Children and pets

Do children pay?

Children up to 5 stay free when sharing their parents' room.

From age 6, they count as a guest.

Are pets allowed?

No, pets are not allowed.

How do New Year's Eve and holidays work?

On these dates we sell special packages, separate from regular nightly rates.
